The Brandeis / Harvard Research Center on Managed Care and Drug Abuse Treatment is currently conducting the 1999/2000 survey of Fortune 500 companies' provision of mental health and substance abuse services.
Directed by Dr. Constance Horgan and Dr. Deborah Garnick, the 1999/2000 survey is designed to track changes and identify new trends in the field. The study is being conducted by the Brandeis/Harvard Research Center on Managed Care and Drug Abuse Treatment with funding from the National Institutes of Health. The center is a collaboration of Brandeis University's Schneider Institute for Health Policy and Harvard University's Medical School, Department of Health Care Policy.
After the data collection and analysis period ends, we will send all Fortune 500 respondents a summary report on the results within six months, which will pre-date any published reports. We guarantee confidentiality of your answers and all of our data will be presented in ways that preclude identification of any individual company.
If you would like to receive copies of findings from the 1997 survey - or if you have any questions about the current survey, please contact our project manager, Kathleen Keck, at 877-301-7983 (toll free) or via email at fortune5@brandeis.edu. Of course, we would like to hear from any Fortune 500 employers who wish to respond.
