BenefitsLink offers your firm the ability to flag down potential customers by displaying a banner containing your firm's logo, name, or other information!
A reader who clicks on your banner ad will be delivered directly to your home page on the web or any other page you'd like. If you don't have a web page, we'll take that reader to a full-page ad we'll build.
Because BenefitsLink covers exclusively employee benefit plans, you know your ad will be seen by people "in the business," -- employers, employees and benefits service-providers -- which is better than a "shotgun" approach of advertising on Web sites that are not devoted to employee benefits.
The cost of a banner ad is "$40 CPM," as the ad agencies say. $200 buys 5,000 displays, for example (also sometimes called "impressions"). ($200/month minimum.) Each additional $40/month will cause your banner to be splashed on readers' screens another 1,000 times per month. For specific pages (your banner appears only on particular pages you select) the cost is $250 per month for 5,000 impressions. Additional impressions at $50 per thousand.
At no extra charge, you can use your web browser and a password to monitor exactly how many times your banner ad has been displayed and how many times readers have clicked on your banner to be taken to your web site (or to an ad we'll build for you, if you wish). Generally the "click-through" rate is 5 to 15 click-throughs per 1,000 displays.
Your banner will appear on many different pages on BenefitsLink, automatically -- a special computer program draws a banner advertisement out of an electronic hat each time a given page is viewed by a BenefitsLink reader. If you would prefer the continuity of a stationary position on a particular page (for example, the Benefits in the News page), such a slot also might be available.
