I have an employer with a MPP with a 1 year eligibility and a 401(k) with a 6 month eligibility. What is the easiest way to get all of the employees and all of their census and payroll data into both plans every year.

In the past, I have imported the payroll and census info into the 401(k) and then used a DER to export from one Plan and import it into another. Is there an easier way yet?

What version of Relius are you using?

Jim, Relius stores employees by employer, not by plan. So everything you load into one 'plan' is automatically available to any other plan of the same employer.

That leaves only the question of how to tell other plans to 'see' the information? It is really easy once you know the trick. It only has to be done once for each new employee. It is really simple, but not intuitive. Ok already! Get to the point!

Import just the SSN. No other fields are necessary. That's it. Try it, you will like it!

Thanks, guys.

I'm at version 14 and still working like I did years ago. I did not realize that everything like comp and DOT's carried over immediately. I was still transferring everything with a DER.

Thanks, again.
