A lot of the RFP's my firm has been getting have asked if we could provide a Web based Pension Benefit Calculator. I was wondering if other TPA's provide this service, and if so, how they developed it. If there is some company that does this type of work, I would rather use them than spend my time creating one from scratch.
Any ideas?

Not sure what the prospects are requesting? Is this a DB plan or a DC plan?
For a DC plan where they just want to help the participant anticipate how much additional retirement income he or she could get out of increasing their savings, I LOVE

It builds this cool visual.
I haven't tested it under all fact patterns, but I have looked at it for the basic 401(k) savings impact and the results are predictable.

I apologize for not specifying that I am referring to a defined benefit plan RFP.

Invesmart, Inc. has developed a web-based program known as Pension Direct. The program performs the calculations (based on plan provisions, salary, form of distribution, etc.), allows participants to plan for retirement (includes DB, DC, personal savings for retirement, IRAs, Soc Sec), and teaches participants about their DB plan.
Go to invesmart.com to find more information.
