We are operating Relius on a network Citrix server.
Is anyone getting this message:
"Transaction Entry cannot be exited while the Transaction Import/Export program is running" ?
If so, any ideas for a solution?

We are on stand alone workstations, but used to get that message all the time on clients that had a lot of transactions. It was almost as if we were trying to hurry the system too much. Also - when we got that message, it seemed to take even longer for all the transactions to process. Usually if I waited a bit before trying to exit transactions, I was able to get out ok. Can you not exit transactions at all or does it allow you to exit if you wait? Our computers were upgraded and I never get that message anymore...

Thanks for your reply.
Relius sometimes will let us exit if we wait, but other times the wait is too long, probably locked up, so we need to reboot.
We can minimize and review other parts of the plan and then go back and close, sometimes.

That message is a very frequent one even on a stand-alone system, and it pops up a lot, all day long. I imagine the faster the machine, the sooner it gives it up.
Your situation is unique - you're pretty much stuck with the speed of your connection to the server. Rebooting is never the solution although it sounds like in this instance you're able to at least disconnect from the wide® area network.
You may want to think about an internal policy of just keeping transactions open until you're done working with the plan, then close the plan first - see if that helps. Whoever is on the Citrix end of things would probably have some tips or recommendations for dealing with the problem.
