For normal EGTRRA catch-up contributions, is there a lifetime maximum?
I know with 403(b) plans, the "special catch-up" has a lifetime max. of $15,000.00.
Thanks in advance.

I've never seen any mention of a lifetime maximum for 401(k) catch-up contributions in any research material or official releases.

Catchups are year-by-year contributions; there is no accumulation.

There no max but these rules have "sunset provisions" and are due to expire I believe by 2010 (of course they might be made permanent or extended by then.)
