Our company is new to Relius and although I've seen some messages posted about a contributions report broken down by participant, I have another question on the issue. We had a wonderful report in Blaze SSI that listed by participant compensation, deferrals, deferral rate (as a percentage of their comp), match, match rate, safe harbor 3%, profit sharing, profit sharing rate and then total contributions and total contributions as a percentage of comp. This was a great report to check deduction limits, 415 limits, the 3% SH calculation and comparability percentages. Relius is having a difficult time coming up with something similar and we feel it will be very difficult to live without that report. Does anyone have anything that's similar that they would be willing to share?

Another report we're having a hard time getting is just a 1-2 page summary of plan provisions report. In Relius, you have to print off a page for each type of plan spec, but I'd like something that summarizes the highlights on 1 or 2 pages.

Thanks.

gotta run, I am past my 415 limit.

yes, I have a 1 page plan spec report I can send you.

I do have an allocation report that sort of does what you want - it does not show % for deferral or match, but that could be easily modified if you know a smidgen of crystal.

if you click on my name you can send me your e-mail and I can send you reports tomorrow.

welcome to the Board!

(Sorry, I am unable to attach crystal reports directly - system simply wont let me do it)

I should add the following:

I am more than willing to share reports, but they are a use at your own risk. while I don't think there are any major problems, one never knows. where possible, double check totals and stuff with another report.

reports I have with 415 limits have been hard coded from days of old, and I have not gone back and updated them.
I keep promising myself to do that, but time never seems to be there.

probably all reports require the plan name to be entered in Alphanumeric fields 11 and 12 - otherwise report prints no data. by plan name I mean a name without the company name attached.

remember, these are free reports, however
currently I am owed at least one big smile, that is accruing interest at an inordinate rate. don't get behind on payment requests! smile.gif

Sorry, I'm hijacking the thread to test something and it appears to have worked. I "zipped" a Crystal Report file and have attached it to this message. Its just a blank report with one label, so don't bother downloading unless you want to test it out. This would be one workaround to you not being able to attach report files to your messages.

There are a bajillion zip/compression utilities available. Some free, some not so free.

thnaks for the advice. I will have to try that.

This was too cool, I was able to use the zip file in this thread and Tom's Crystal report on the other thread and save the *.rpt file. Good to know in case I ever need to post a Crystal report or hopefully help someone out with one. BTW - I used WINZIP and it worked great.

I'm one who owes Tom a smile but only because he didn't actually see me smiling in his ASPPA seminar presentation (there were quite a few of us in the room at the time - all smiling - Tom is quite entertaining as well as educational you know smile.gif !!) [meant in the best of spirits, Tom!]

now for the nest question:
our office still has not 'gotten with the times' and moved to Relius 10.x
we are still on brand 9.x.

The wonderful DLavigne was having problems having the report work. I suspect it is a conversion issue, but I wouldn't have a clue on how to upgrade the reports to that version.

Patti - all comments tongue and cheek! smile.gif You already told me there was an unseen smile. still, seeing them in person (or on the board) is too cool! laugh.gif

..........................
this is really good news about the Crystal reports, at least I can throw them on the board from time to time.
not that anyone really uses them. ha!

Tom - I'm still on 9.x also, but thinking I might want to go to 10.x now, instead of waiting until after the first of the year. I was reading over some info on the upgrade and see that 10.x uses Crystal version 10.0. My Crystal version is 8.5, so I need to do some upgrading there as well. It looks like you can upgrade custom Crystal reports alittle easier that you could before, so there's a positive!!! If I proceed with my upgrade shortly as planned, I'll let everyone know how it goes....................
