I need to do a 1099 for 2006 Return of Excess for ROTH contributions. What code or codes would you suggest I use?

Thank you

I couldn't seem to attach the instructions...

if you go onto the irs.gov website to forms and publications, I think the information you seek is in the 1099-R instructions (assuming Roth deferral into a QP???).

anyway...they have added various codes for distributions from Roth accounts.

Hope this helps.

Since the original post mentioned a 1099-R for 2006:
