Does anyone know where I could find the q's for the 64OASDI disability rates? I've looked on the Society web site and the SSA but couldn't find them.

If anyone has them, and would be willing to email them, any form would be fine -txt, lotus, excel

Your not being stupid, I just typed it as it was stated in the actuarial report. I assume it means the 1964 Old Age Survivor Disability Rates (ie: the rates used by Social Security, applicable to 1964).

It's not the type of situation that you can just call the existing (soon to be prior) actuary and ask.

Another question/clarification: are you looking for disability incidence rates, or disabled life mortality rates?

Suggest looking at http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/NOTES/actstud.html

disability incidence rates

I have talked to the libriarian at the SOA, who talked with the "disability person" at the SSA who had no idea what I wanted. The SSA said that there was no study or valuation done in 1964, so I may be SOL.

I will keep looking, thank you all for the help.
