Could anyone recommend a publication or organization for helping TPA's and/or their clients maintain regulatory compliance? It seems like a full-time job staying on top of all the requirements. I need to stay ahead of federal and New Jersey state regulation.

RIA (http://www.RIAhome.com/) publishes a print benefits compliance (reporting and disclosure) publication called Employee Benefits Compliance Coordinator. It also has an online pension and benefits publication on its Checkpoint website that includes compliance guidance (http://www.RIAcheckpoint.com).

It is a full-time job. In fact, that's exactly what I do for a living. We also have a full-time person who handles Medicare only. It helps to have a background in law.
EBIA is a good source, so are Thompson publications. The best source by far is Benefitslink. My access was inadvertently cut off by my company for about 6 weeks so I spent time at home accessing this fine site. I was able to convince them this wasn't a "chat room".
