Boston, August 3, 2000 -- Pyramid Digital Solutions, LLC, the leading provider of Internet, voice and data-access technology for the retirement plan processing industry, announced today the opening of PlanInstitute(TM), a new client training facility located in the company's Boston office. PlanInstitute will assist retirement plan recordkeepers and administrators in defining their training needs and executing the appropriate courses for their IT and administrative personnel.
Barbara Nieters, Pyramid's manager of professional development, commented, "Our instructors are senior consultants who have years of hands-on experience with Pyramid products and defined contribution recordkeeping systems. Because of the increasing demand from our clients for comprehensive training programs, we have already begun an expansion of our space to accommodate more people. In addition to using our facility here in Boston, the instructors have the capability of conducting programs at the client's site."
PlanInstitute's current training programs focus on Pyramid's suite of products, as well as HTML. New courses will be added in the months to come. Eventually, a certification program will be offered through PlanInstitute for recordkeepers in the retirement plan industry. Attendees will be required to complete a series of courses and comprehensive exams in order to obtain the certificate, Nieters said.
