Press release:

CPI-HR Expands Nationally During Tough Economic Climate

Issued by: CPI-HR

Date: Monday, February 15, 2010

Expansion Will Help Focus on Benefits Brokerage/Consulting, Payroll/HR services, and Benefits Administration

SOLON, OH --- To celebrate a year in which it successfully navigated through one of the toughest economies in recent memory, CPI-HR – long regarded as one of the country’s premier providers of payroll, human resource solutions, and employee benefit packages – has unveiled a new logo, website, and brand identity.

“As we start a new decade, we thought it was fitting to launch a new look to mark the growth we have experienced in our traditional strongholds of Ohio and parts of West Virginia and Pennsylvania, as well as nationally,” says Jim Hopkins, Founder of CPI-HR.

“By taking a fully integrated approach to client services, we have been able to separate ourselves from our competitors,” explains Brian Meharry, who joined CPI-HR as President in 2009 to lead its national expansion. “This will allow us to better serve our existing clients while continuing our national expansion.”

One of the ways in which CPI-HR has differentiated itself from its peers has been through its involvement in Benefits Advisors Network (BAN), the premier national association of benefits brokers who leverage their combined size to bring employers the right solutions at competitive prices. BAN members, referred to as Smart Partners®, are widely regarded as the ‘best of the best’ in their respective markets.

CPI-HR recently was designated as a BAN Platform Agency, enabling it to provide customized services and solutions that other BAN Smart Partners® can market, sell, or distribute in their respective marketplaces. CPI-HR decision to expand their national footprint was not only to enhance their own brand, but also allowed them  to align with Benefit Advisors Network in order to provide Platform Agency services seamlessly to other members’ clients.

Under the new arrangement, CPI-HR will offer comprehensive payroll processing, a full suite of HR services, and benefits administration (such as FSA and COBRA Administration as well as HRA processing). It also will handle sales, implementation, and ongoing support for BAN members leveraging its solutions. Worth noting, CPI-HR has aligned target markets in their three main service areas, which include: Benefits Brokerage/Consulting, Payroll/HR services, and Benefits Administration.

“The new logo, website, and brand are all indicators of the fact that CPI-HR offers the best of both worlds,” Hopkins adds. “Our payroll and HR practice and strong relationships with financial institutions across the country have enabled CPI-HR to emerge as a national firm offering a full suite of products and services. That, in turn, has allowed us to serve our existing base of customers at an even higher level.”

CPI-HR’s clients apparently agree. According to the results of their semi-annual client satisfaction survey, CPI-HR enjoys an astounding 84% percent of respondents rating them Above Average or Outstanding pertaining to their overall satisfaction.
