Our Voluntary Employee Beneficiary Association (VEBA) services revolve around a funding vehicle designed to alleviate pressure from GASB 45 and to provide tax free contributions to pay for life, sick, accident and other benefits to members and their spouse and/or dependents. The investments are held in a 501(c)(9) trust where the assets are completely protected in a separate and irrevocable entity.
Currently, Brentwood is the trust administrator for the CALGOVEBA, an existing multi-agency VEBA trust for the state of California.
