  1. The document excludes fringe benefits from comp. I think I remember that cash in lue of health insurance is counted as cash and included in Plan comp. What do you all think? Can anyone provide anything in writing?
  2. OK. CE is much easier if I renew my PTIN. Has anyone trried to do that online? When I go online, I can only see how to apply for a PTIN. Everything I try gets me an error that says I already have a ptin. Can anyone help me renew?

  9. We are looking at our hardship withdrawal form and want to had a paragraph. We have the paragraph about stopping deferrals for 6 months. We want to had a paragraph to put responsibility to restart on the participant. We are discussing how to word this for plans with and without automatic enrollment and with and without automatic escalation. Does any one have any suggestions? What other problems have been caused by this situation or solutions you have tried?

  11. Let's say a plan has autoenrollment, and someone decides to opt out after $20 is taken from one paycheck. What are the mechanics of his refund, is it a normal distribution or is payroll reversed?
  12. I have never seen this before. I have seen comp before Participation being excluded. If the plan has a 1,000 hour requirement for discretionary non-elective, is it legal to exclude hours before Plan Entry?

  14. The QDRO says nothing about our distribution fee. It says to give the alternate Payee $5,000 +G/L form August 12, 2016. Do you think we can take half of our distribution fee out of her $5,000?
