Guest Ray Berry Posted January 21, 2002 Share Posted January 21, 2002 What responsibility does an employer have to educate defined contribution (401(k) and ESOP particularly) participants as to diversification when the employer match is company stock? Is there a different answer if there are no restrictions on selling the company stock, even for matching contributions? Class action suits may answer these questions.
