Guest bobolink
I know there are special rules for governmental plans, but are there any for church plans? Do we file based on the EIN? I am confused! This should be simple ...
John Feldt ERPA CPC QPA
File based on EIN if you want a D letter and they did not elect to be covered by ERISA.

BTG
I don't recall anything in Rev. Proc. 2007-44 that provides a special remedial amendment cycle for church plans. It is my understanding that they file based on the last digit of their EIN like most other plans.
