Ethics CPE

Recommended Posts

An interesting ethical question. Perhaps your question should be part of your class.

I'm a retirement actuary. Nothing about my comments is intended or should be construed as investment, tax, legal or accounting advice. Occasionally, but not all the time, it might be reasonable to interpret my comments as actuarial or consulting advice.

Generally speaking about continuing education, it's done all the time. Most common example I've personally experienced is programs that target both CPAs and attorneys; I knew several people who'd use them to "kill two birds w/ one stone".

Biggest issue is that different bodies may count hours of credit differently.
