sometimes true stories are funny.

a client asked once about excluding a couple of people from their plan, and I had told them

yes it could be done, easiest way is just exclude them by an amendment.

so a week or so later they sent the following note:

 

We prepared the amendments to exclude from the plan John Smith and Jane Doe. They were executed yesterday.

I know, right?  I don't understand why the CBO makes such a big deal about scoring tax bills, when the deficit is so high that a few million more here or there won't make any difference -- and no one ever checks up to see if the CBO was right or not.  It's ridiculous.
