Guest David Lipkin
I've always favored CCH over the red RIA books (or whatever they're called). But now cch is going to straight annual billing and I don't like that. Does anyone use RIA? (I'm not sure this is the exact name) Do you know a contact phone #? Thanks! Guest pensiondoc
Ah, yes. We switched from CCH to RIA about 8 years ago. We got tired of spending an hour or two searching the index for our topic. I'm very happy with RIA, especially now that the Pension Coordinator is on CD-Rom. We don't have any paper to file away anymore!! Don't know what they're getting now on a start up, but I'm paying $350 per quarter and think it is well worth it. My contact there is Joe Agugliardo, # 800-346-737 x2108. You can mention my name.
Guest Ray Williams
We use a combination of CCH and Benefitslink. I use the CCH online for current itmes and to receive the newletter and updates- that is billed on a usage basis, and then use Benefitslink for reseach- that of course is free. Ervin Barham
I've used both. I preferred the RIA books to the CCH books. But, with the advent of CD-ROM, I prefer the CCH CD to the RIA CD. I understand that RIA has now changed the search engine, so it may be better now. You should have no problem getting a salesperson!
