AndyH Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 50. Nobody else will answer my 415 question 49. He was like an automatic eraser on a typewriter; if you make a shaky comment you get challenged on it right away. ........................add yours..........
No Name Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 48. So we can stop searching the woods for him and go home.
Kirk Maldonado Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 47. So we don't have to come up with all 50 of these reasons. Kirk Maldonado
rcline46 Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 46. He has the most pleasant way of being irritatingly right. 45. He has memorized the code and all of the regulations.
FAPInJax Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 44 He comes up with creative ways to use the regulations (not as creative as Larry D but more palatable<GG>)
david rigby Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 1. See what Kirk said. I'm a retirement actuary. Nothing about my comments is intended or should be construed as investment, tax, legal or accounting advice. Occasionally, but not all the time, it might be reasonable to interpret my comments as actuarial or consulting advice.
JanetM Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 I say we track him down and chain him to the keyboard. We need you MIKE! JanetM CPA, MBA
Lori Friedman Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 43. I always make stupid and careless typos. Mike never did. 42. Someone here will have the knowledge and experience to answer AndyH's questions (see #50). Lori Friedman
AndyH Posted March 31, 2005 Author Posted March 31, 2005 41. He probably knows what "attenuate" means without looking it up.
Kirk Maldonado Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 But is he enamored of the word "attenuate?" Kirk Maldonado
Lori Friedman Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 40. Because if Mike comes back, there'll be at least one more person for AndyH, PATA, and Lori to annoy when they post messages about the Red Sox. Lori Friedman
Guest Donkey Kong Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 39. He smells pretty. (Dang typo! - #43)
could be me maybe not Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 38. If I am not mistaken, he lured Donkey Kong out of his jungle of "Plan Administration and Design" and into "Life Beyond Employee Benefits" for the first time. In other words, he has given DK a life. Careful, DK, it's a jungle out there.
Ron Snyder Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 Now that we're at 50, I would like to add my voice to the pleas for Mike Preston to come on over. In case he doesn't, Andy, provide me with a link to your 415 question: I'll try to answer it.
stephen Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 Vebaguru, I did not realize you were an actuary as only an actuary could come up with a way to say we are at all 50 reasons with but so few reasons actually listed.
AndyH Posted August 30, 2005 Author Posted August 30, 2005 vebaguru, it is the multiple annuity starting date 415 question, which is kind of addressed in the proposed 415 regs that were issued after I asked the question. Since that has been challenged (by ASPA et al I believe) there is probably no answer but if you have an opinion that would be great. Thanks. http://benefitslink.com/boards/index.php?a...ndpost&p=112847
Mike Preston Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Ooops, posted to the wrong thread. Sorry. All content deleted and moved to correct thread.
