DATAIR released a 2014 version of the Pension Reporter System (5500s) on December 22, 2014 (earlier than anyone else we believe) and was available for clients to enter and/or transfer information, also included was a draft version of the form 8955-SSA (as the 8955-SSA was not finalized by the IRS until January 30, 2015). Clients of the Pension Reporter System did have had the ability to enter or transfer data into the draft 8955-SSA since the initial release of December 22nd.
Data can be easily transferred into the Pension Reporter System from both our Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit Systems, including transferring data into the draft 8955-SSA. This includes data from our Pension System for required data for page 2.
We will have the final version of the 8955-SSA, with e-filing capability, completed very shortly and posted to our website.
