I feel I have been the subject of the above misapplications, I also think I am not the only one. I have found that even though attorneys agree with my assessment, they say it is cost prohibitive to go after GM to correct the situation. The US Department of Labor has said they need to receive multiple complaints before they investigate the situation (as a pattern of abuse).
