Can we request that an employee returning from certain medical personal or work related disability LOAs have their doctor fill out "our" form that asks if they can perform specific duties related to their functions as a Home Health Aide?
Guest M L Sullivan Posted November 27, 2001 Posted November 27, 2001 You don't mention whether or not the person is eligible for FMLA, but I think it is fine for you to request a Return To Work Certificate (the DOL has a model one for FMLA) for employees returning from leave due to illness or injury. You just need to do for all so you don't discriminate.
