Guest equigley Posted January 3, 2002 Posted January 3, 2002 Interested in referrals for Deferred Compensation Vendors. Any information would be much appreciated!
Guest LVanSteeter Posted January 4, 2002 Posted January 4, 2002 Most of the large financial institutions offer at least investment options for a DC plan, some will offer additional services (Trustee, Signature Ready Tax Reporting, etc.) Costs will depend upon features and size of the plan. You might try contact several of these institutions and see what they offer.
Guest equigley Posted January 9, 2002 Posted January 9, 2002 thanks so much for the tip. We have actually received information from Fidelity and planned on looking into that, but it is helpful to know that other larger investment firms also offer these services.
Guest LVanSteeter Posted January 9, 2002 Posted January 9, 2002 Okay, I will admit to a bias as to working for that large company. (specifically with non-profit retirement plans)
david rigby Posted January 9, 2002 Posted January 9, 2002 If you have a relationship with a reputable employee benefits consulting firm, ask their advice. You might also ask if your attorney and/or auditor has referrals. (Full disclosure: I work for an employee benefits consulting firm.) I'm a retirement actuary. Nothing about my comments is intended or should be construed as investment, tax, legal or accounting advice. Occasionally, but not all the time, it might be reasonable to interpret my comments as actuarial or consulting advice.
