I have found that a few times when creating custom reports, if you use a different print driver to print the report than was used during creation it will sometimes print incorrectly (formatting) or not at all.

This problem occurred when using different print drivers for the same printer and the same OS. Since RA7.0 allows you to use Windows 2000, I have installed that OS and the corresponding printer drivers. The rest of the organization uses either Windows 98 or ME. Will this cause a lot of problems when distributing Custom Reports???

Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

If you're fortunate to have an IS person to insulate you from the dark and magical world of printer drivers, in my past life I had pretty good luck just confirming with the IS person to be sure that all drivers installed on all machines were up to date.

It was my understanding then that problems could pop up if an older printer driver was used on a particular machine.

As far as the W2k issue, IS could help to set up a test bed machine, to give you a chance to run all your reports. I know with pension administrators, it doesn't always fly to have to interupt with a machine test. You could also insert a hidden field with the machine name that designed the report, in case you need to track it down later.
