We are a small to medium size compay in GA and wishing to create a policy for exempt employees that would keep these employees on the payroll for a period of time before going on STD or LTD. I would appreciate any text of policy your company has on this matter. Thanks

There is no nonqualified solution to the question you pose. Please check the message board topics and repost..

Perhaps I was to hasty in sending you to another message board. Are you looking for a corporate wide solution for salary continuation or for a program that allows only top management to participate. If it is the latter, some type of nonqualified plan might be an answer. Can you give more detail?
