Guest JFBEARB Posted June 5, 2002 Posted June 5, 2002 Has there been a final ruling on the carry over for Health FSA? I find the proposed as of 11/00 but no final. I also recall reading something that indicated the carry over would be $500.00 for Health FSA but no changes for DCAPs.
papogi Posted June 6, 2002 Posted June 6, 2002 Definitely nothing final, and probably nothing very soon.

Is there a summary of the final changes that went into effect for 2002 and perhaps what is going into effect for 2003?
mroberts Posted June 7, 2002 Posted June 7, 2002 This was only a proposal. I would find it hard to imagine something is agreed upon even in 2003. Laws dealing with medical insurance aren't exactly high priority in Congress. Nonetheless, I just read an article published by Kaiser that is estimating medical increases to be over 20% for 2003. If this is the case, we could see a lot of medical legislation, such as the FSA rollover, taken care of by the end fo the year or early 2003.
Guest Matt J Posted June 7, 2002 Posted June 7, 2002 One of the FSA Rollover bills is HR 3105. Rep. Edward Royce is the bill sponsor. This is the bill that the ECFC has been lobbying for.
