Does anyone know of a resource that lists the pre-tax eligibility(125 plan) of Worker's Comp. premiums by state?

Thanks,

Workers’ Comp. premiums are paid by the employer. So I don’t understand the question about them being pre-taxed. They are usually a business expense to the employer.

Here in California, when a company implements a 125 plan, they are able to use the reduced gross salary (post 125 deductions) as the basis of their premium cost. I am interested to know whether this is so in the rest of the US as well.

That is true in Ohio as well. I'm not sure if that is the case in every state. Sorry, I don't have any websites to offer.

The National Council on Compensation Insurance, Inc (NCCI) has a rule book that is divided by states. I do not know their website but any WC sales rep should be able to give you the info you need.

[Editor's note: This link to a commercial firm might have useful information: http://www.hrollp.com/practice-areas/labor-employment/workers-compensation/list-50-states-d-c-s-workers-compensation-agencies/ ]
