We want a liberal policy, but our current policy of "sick time as needed" has been taken advantage of by a few. Any suggestions will really be appreciated.
Guest Melanie Posted October 29, 1998 Posted October 29, 1998 Our company has 23 employees and we consider vacation, sick, and personal days all the same. Each employee accrues a certain number of hours per pay period toward days off. These hours can be used for sick, vacation, or personal days, it doesn't matter. But the employees must understand that when those hours are gone, that's it. Hope this suggestion helps.
