Guest Barbara M Posted January 31, 1999 Posted January 31, 1999 Does anyone know of a vendor who offers a discount package for employee benefits, ie. Discounts on movie tickets, wrapping paper, amusement parks, gyms or fitness centers, tires, etc. We are planning to put together a brochure with discounts that employees can access as a fringe benefit, especially during the summer vacation and holiday times. I know there are several for auto and home insurance, but we are looking fo FUN things.
david rigby Posted January 31, 1999 Posted January 31, 1999 My local AAA office offers the types of items you mention. Perhaps you can arrange some volume discount program; perhaps you can subsidize their membership. I'm a retirement actuary. Nothing about my comments is intended or should be construed as investment, tax, legal or accounting advice. Occasionally, but not all the time, it might be reasonable to interpret my comments as actuarial or consulting advice.
Guest Lori Senter Posted February 1, 1999 Posted February 1, 1999 Disney offers the Walt Disney Magic Kingdom Club that provides discounts on tickets, lodging, Disney Store and Catalog purchases, etc. No cost to sign up (to er or ee). There has to be someone designated Club Director (this person gets free tickets and discount lodging once a year) but it's not time consuming at all. The MKC HQ is in Anaheim, you can call 411 for the number.
Guest Phil Tummarello Posted February 10, 1999 Posted February 10, 1999 I represent WellQuest which provides a discounted network of fitness centers offered through employer groups and MCO's. The network is available in ten states. The only cost associated with the benefit is communicating its availability. If you would like more information please contact me at 800-595-8448 (EST). Thank you.
