I am familiar with (and have worked with) vacation benefits for hourly and salaried employees; however, any information you could provide regarding how vacations are handled for commission-based employees would be greatly appreciated. Guest Lori Senter Posted February 26, 1999 Posted February 26, 1999 The bank where I previously worked had commissioned stock brokers and mortgage originators. They had a benefits-base rate of pay for such things has life insurance, disability, etc. that are salary-based. We used that benefits base to pay for vacation and holidays.
