I am seeking new information on current legal developments and personal experiences of professionals who deal "employee vs. independent contractor" issues in the workplace, particularly related to employee participation in benefit plaans. I recently saw an ad for a web-based service called Internet Qualifier that evaluates workers' relationships with a company to determine employee vs. independent contractor status.
