Guest Tinman42 Posted November 25, 2002 Posted November 25, 2002 Has anybody installed 8.0 yet? We're fearing we might be one of the first.... and we're having some issues!
Guest Tbrown Posted November 27, 2002 Posted November 27, 2002 We installed it the day after it was released and so far no problems. There are some minor issues with it such as the problem that was discussed on another thread - doubling the numbers on the gateway test. But nothing significant yet. We aren't daily, so we don't have the VRU or Web applications. All of the EGTRRA items that I've tested so far appear to be working. Tim
Guest haaron Posted December 4, 2002 Posted December 4, 2002 We're using it now. Haven't had any troubles yet, but I'm still new enough that I might not recognize a problem if it flew in my face. Heather
Guest Tinman42 Posted December 18, 2002 Posted December 18, 2002 I'm happy to say we found the problem was with the install program from Corbel. They've sent us a fix and things are looking much better. One word of warning - there are some glitches with the new catch-up programming and off-calendar year plans. It's not looking at 2,000 as the 2003 limit (we found during testing). We have informed Corbel and yes, they are working on a fix in the first service pack for 8.
Guest Tbrown Posted December 18, 2002 Posted December 18, 2002 Tinman, We have encountered a couple of minor problems as well with the catchups. We are having trouble with the adp report when there are catchups that are taken into consideration when the test fails. The report screen that shows the catchups and the refund amounts is very confusing. Have you found this as well. I've talked to Corbel and they agree it's confusing and are looking for suggestions for changes. I received an email from them about the bug you are talking about, but I can't recreate it here. It seems to be working fine. Tim
