We have an employee who enrolled in the Flexible Spending Account - electing DEpendent Coverage expenses in the amount of $900. On November 18, 2002 had a change in family status a "birth of a child". He is requesting an increase to his Dependent CAre account for the month of DEcember in the amount of $3,500.00. He wants to submitt dependent care expenses that he incurred during the year for his first child.

Is this allowed?
