What happened to the $500 carry over for Medical FSAs in the 2003 budg

I know I should keep up better than this but we've just been swamped.

Whatever happened to the President's proposal to allow Healthcare Flexible Spending Account participants carry over up to $500 of their unused money to the following year rather than forfeit it?

I don't know any specifics, but I know that nothing has ultimately come of it, yet. I'd be surprised if he hear anything in the next 6 months.

I think it got lost in the post 911 environment. You will notice that none of the other health care issues have really been addressed either. Prescription drug price relief for senior citizens was a much hotter issue, and that also is on the back burner for right now.
