Guest Erin O Posted April 5, 2000 Posted April 5, 2000 We are trying to find general policies concerning cell phone use. Many of our employees are given phones as part of their benefits package. Does anyone have any good resources for policies for a high-tech internet start up?
Guest [Pat M] Posted April 11, 2000 Posted April 11, 2000 Erin..you can try calling the HR depts./recruiters of some ISP's and ask if they'd be willing to fax you the Use-of-Cell-Phone section of their P&P manual. If not, they sometimes have a recruiting handout on benefits for prospective ees/sales execs. Try recruiting pages of some ISPs with networks in various regions of country: RCN www.rcn.com 1-800-ringrcn Voicenet www.voicenet.com (215) 674-9290 Splitrock www.splitrock.com (888) 255-1170 My experience: If ISP part of a CLEC/Long Distance package, then Sales gets all or combo pack of local/long distance/cell/wireless e-mail/. Other employees provided with a discount package if in areas serviced. Internet service free to ees. ------------------
