Guest Anonymous Posted February 24, 1999 Posted February 24, 1999 You are most likely using the older version of Crystal (4.5). This was a limitation in Crystal, but has been resolved in the newer version of Crystal (6.0)! Hope this helps!
Guest m thom Posted February 24, 1999 Posted February 24, 1999 In December our firm changed from GUPTA to Oracle. After the change I noticed that several number fields in Crystal Writer reports were formatted with comma and two decimal places. In most cases I was able to correct the problem by changing the formatting for the affected field so that rounding was "1" (no decimal places) and decimals was "1". In some cases, however, this did not work; the old format refuses to be corrected. Can someone explain this phenomenon or help? thanks.
Guest m thom Posted February 24, 1999 Posted February 24, 1999 The problem has been resolved. The "location" in the Crystal Writer report was still set for the Gupta database. When I changed it to Oracle's code (CROR7), the formatting changes held. Thanks to anonymous for your attempt to help.
