Guest erisa15 Posted May 6, 2003 Posted May 6, 2003 We have a self funded medical and dental plan and need to know if we have to provide participants with a Summary Annual Report. We are required to file form 5500. Any input is appreciated.
Guest F1fan Posted May 6, 2003 Posted May 6, 2003 See DOL regulation 2520.104b-10(g) for exemptions from need to provide Summary Annual Report. If by “self funded” you mean that the benefits are paid exclusively from the general assets of the employer, you may be exempt.
