We are currently transitioning from an accrual environment to a daily envirnoment. In order to make this transition, we are investigating trade software packages. I would appreciate any feedback on the Sungard Trade Expediter.

I've started using the trade import and export from Quantech just using csv files from Excel - it saves a lot of time. Just never seem to have time to settle trades from a ledger or trade links. At some point, we'll have to find time - an admin these days can ill afford not to automate settlement. I would encourage you to find out as much as you can about Expediter and take advantage of its efficiencies beginning from the training stage to implementation - before it's too late and you get really busy !

You can always apply what you've learned about expeditor to other trade/settlement platforms.
