Guest susanyb Posted September 26, 2003 Posted September 26, 2003 Does anyone know of any legal requirement to have a medical conversion plan for people that have exhaused their COBRA months?
GBurns Posted September 26, 2003 Posted September 26, 2003 There are some states where the insurance laws require that policies have a conversion feature. George D. KIP KRAUS Posted September 27, 2003 Posted September 27, 2003 Gburns is correct. State insurance law is where you will find your answer. However, to my knowledge there is no requirement for a self-insured plan to provide conversion coverage.
