I would recommend you go to google.com and type in:

NESTEG (National Employee Savings and Trust Equity Guarantee Act)

or

American Jobs Creation Act of 2003 (AJCA)

and "deferred" and you should get a nice list of articles

These are the two major pieces of legislation which could have drastic impacts on deferred compensation.
