Eligible dependents for health flex plans are typically those that live with or are related to the employee, are US citizens, and the employee pays for more than half of the support. The document will define dependent. If you aren't looking at flex and are, instead, looking at a premium reimbursement plan offered by an employer, then you will have to look at the document for that plan to see how dependents are defined.
