Sheila K Posted May 13, 2004 Posted May 13, 2004 HELP! Does anyone know if there are any studies regarding productivity and how dress code may (or may not) affect work productivity? Sheila K 8^)
JanetM Posted May 13, 2004 Posted May 13, 2004 Sheila, I have read conflicting articles regarding this. Some say more productivity when casual is dress code and others say productivity increased when formal dress code is added. I don't agree with most of them, I think the productivity will depend on the business, work environment, and individuals involved. My disclaimer - I am a card carrying member of AANR. JanetM CPA, MBA
david rigby Posted May 13, 2004 Posted May 13, 2004 "American Association of Normal Retirees" ? "American Association of Never Retired" ? "American Association of Nerd Retirees" ? I'm a retirement actuary. Nothing about my comments is intended or should be construed as investment, tax, legal or accounting advice. Occasionally, but not all the time, it might be reasonable to interpret my comments as actuarial or consulting advice.
Kirk Maldonado Posted May 13, 2004 Posted May 13, 2004 PAX: I think it stands for American Association for Nude Recreation. I am not a card-carrying member; I just searched for AANR on Google. Casual dress day must be very interesting in JanetM's office. That's an novel fringe benefit--Nude Fridays! Kirk Maldonado
JanetM Posted May 14, 2004 Posted May 14, 2004 Kirk, you got it right. No one else in my office belongs but couple of atty friends in Cincinnati are members. JanetM CPA, MBA
