Relius 5500 - EFAST for a Fiscal Year Plan

Does anyone know how to file a 2002 fiscal year ending 10/31/2003 5500 using Relius Government Forms?

They (Relius) told us to redo the 2002 plan year in 2003 then submit it as a 2003 to create the .rg3 file. Relius said that the DOL would pick it up as 2002 beucase the DOL doesn't care what form is on only the information contacted within the form. The DOL would pick up the fiscal year from the top of the 5500.

Has anyone done this sucessfully? This is our 2nd or 3rd year for EFAST filing but our 1st non-calendar year plan fileing with EFAST.

Any guidance would greatly be appreciated.

If you have Relius, you should have the 2002 forms also, right? if not, I would change the dates on the top of the form, I have done that before when I am filing a return for a short plan year and the forms are not issued yet...

We have the 2002 software as well and the 5500 is completed under the propoer 2002 plan book in Relius Govt Forms.

However, when creating the EFAST electronic filing, Relius is only pointing to .rg3 extensions which are the normal calendar year 2003 filings everyone is filing now.

I need it to point to the .rf2 file which would be the correct plan extension for a plan year ending 10/31/2003 in Relius.

Today is my last day for filing this plan with extension. I am going the PAPER route to ensure it gets done.

I still want to resolve for future filings.
