Guest carsonv Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 Does anyone know of a report that splits the total employer contribution into safe harbor and Profit sharing totals? We have a report that shows the amount by source by fund, but we are looking for a total safe harbor and total PS listed by employee. Any help would be appreciated. Carson
Tom Poje Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 you didn't say if you are talking summary of accounts or simply a contributions listing. I think I have either, though you would probably have to modify report slightly to match your account name or something. however, at the moment, they are working on the computers here so I have no access. Plus you have to ask Head Honcho and Grand Wizard Dave Baker to restore ability to attach a RPT file to these boards. somewhere along the way the system stopped allowing this.
Guest pensionadmin Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 We are new to Relius and the lack of a separate listing of regular and safe harbor profit sharing contributions was a real disappointment here in our office. Either a contribution listing or summary of accounts format would be greatly appreciated!
Guest carsonv Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 I think both would help me at this time. Thanks for your help Tom. Can you email me the reports? Carson@dailyval.com Thanks again, Carson
Archimage Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 You can use the Report Grouping Code function to accomplish this. Go into plan specs/account definitions and click on the source tab. Open an employer source and you will see a field called Report Grouping Code. Enter your title for the source and this should solve your problem.
Guest carsonv Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 I have never used a grouping code. I will take a look at it. When I enter a grouping code, what report will show this? Thanks againg for your help. Carson
Archimage Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 I believe this feature only works with the summary of accounts reports and the certificates.
