Guest sfranklin Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 I have someone asking if an electro dermal screening provided by her chiropractor is covered under the Health FSA. It is a procedure that is not covered under insurance. Please give some guidance or thoughts on this.
Guest JerseyGirl Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 I would want to know a few more details, such as: why is she going to the chiropractor – for general improvement of health or for the treatment of a specific problem? Since Electro Dermal Screening is used primarily as a diagnostic tool, it could have been used to pin-point the cause of the current problem and be an actual aid in determining treatment; if that is the case, then I would consider it an eligible expense. We make a practice of always asking for additional information when we have a *gray area* expense – they usually have a way of becoming far less gray then.
