Leopurrd Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 I have a client in great need of a wrap document. I've received conflicting answers from Corbel in regards to their cafeteria document - one associate said it met the wrap requirements, another did not. For those who are familiar with the Corbel documents - what is your opinion - do you use the cafeteria document as a wrap document? Thanks in advance for your replies.
mbozek Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 What benefits are you refering to? A wrap document merely provides the framework to have several separate benefit programs described in one document to meet the requirement for a written plan document as a single plan under ERISA. Need to see what benefits are covered under the corbel document. mjb
Guest b2kates Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 We have always taken the position that a wrap document combines and creates one plan; therefore only one 5500 filiing.
