French Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 We will be offering nutritional counseling with an on-site dietician as part of our "wellness" programs. From what I have read, unless these services have been prescribed by an MD for treatment of a specific medical condition, they would not be reimbursable. Is my interpretation correct or is there some wiggle room?

Is my interpretation correct or is there some wiggle room? That is what I am doing, as long as the doctor's letter is on file stating that it is for medical necessity, then I am reimbursing. I only have one case that is like that. When in dought, I always ask for a doctor's letter.
