Guest jc1457 Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 I am a part-time employee. I will be changing both my current work hours (will work different days, hours) and also, my day care provider. Will either of these qualify me to change my dependent care cafeteria plan election? Thank you!
LRDG Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Changing child care providers is a qualifying event/status change, according to IRS. Not all plans allow mid-year election changes. Refer to the plan doc to determine your plan's election change provisions.
