K-t-F Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 In the park HR.... evil empire in the basement. Fun ball to watch.... hope it lasts! Its not easy being green
stephen Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 The Yankee's Lose! The Yankee's Lose! The Yankee's Lose! The Yankee's Lose! The Yankee's Lose! That is music to my ears. As of last night the Yankees have lost of five in a row; are 8 1/2 games out of the wildcard spot and 14 1/2 games behind Boston for the division ... the only light on the horizon for yankee fans is Roger Clemens coming to "save" their season on Monday. By then they will have 108 games which is at most 22 starts. My prediction even Roger can't lead them to the division title and probably not even to the wildcard. Let's hear some more music!
AndyH Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 And Stray-Rod in the News. Couldn't happen to a nicer Yankee.
WDIK Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 The Yankee's Loose! The Yankee's Loose! The Yankee's Loose! The Yankee's Loose! The Yankee's Loose! Who let Yankee out? ...but then again, What Do I Know?
stephen Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 Typo corrected! No more loose Yankees now they are losing!
RCK Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 Just so the Sox nation knows, the rest of the world has come to the conclusion that there two Yankee teams--one in New York and one in Boston. There used to be a distinction, but not any longer.
AndyH Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 If Stray-Rod ends up in Boston next year, many of us will agree with you and be emigrants from Red Sox Nation.
Belgarath Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 Oh, I don't know - there ought to be enough blondes in Boston to keep him happy. Personally, I'd love to see a 1 on 1 trade - Lugo for A-Rod. Granted that A-Rod isn't my favorite player in the world, he isn't that bad, and it's hard to argue with his talent. The Bosox, and every other team, have been able to deal with the occasional horse's heinie in the past, and doubtless could again. P.S. As both a long time, and OLD, Bosox fan, I refuse to gloat this early in the season. While the current standings are most enjoyable, I've been down that road before...
wsp Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 I won't gloat either, but have to admit I did make a wager against a Yankee fan involving team jersey's and photos. This is one bet that I'd better not lose! and yes, a west coast Sox fan does exist!
jevd Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 SAY THANK YOU TO YOUR DENVER FRIENDS> ROCKIES SWEEP YANKEES. WHO WOULDA THOUGHT. and yes I was shouting. Thought it was appropriate. JEVD Making the complex understandable.
